Narrative Web Dream Project (Described)

As there won't be time to do a full revision and analysis of your Narrative Webs, I'm making the following change:

Narrative Web - 10%
Narrative Web Dream Project (Described) - 10%

Your Narrative Web is due by Friday, December 8th, at 5pm. This is three days after the last class period, and should give you time to make any revisions you wish after presenting your Web to the class.

At the same time, you will turn in to me a 2-page description of what your Dream Narrative Web (Barbie not included) would be. You should include as much detail as you can provide, explaining:

  • If you had infinite resources and expertise, what would your Narrative Web be? WHY?
  • What format would it be presented in? WHY?
  • How would each part look/sound/read? WHY?
  • What effect would each of these elements have on your Web's audiences? WHY?

As you might be able to tell from the typeface, the "why" parts are the most important aspect of this assignment. Don't skimp on them. You know a heck of a lot now about freaky digital communication -- these "why" questions are your chance to show off your knowledge, your experiences in this class and in your life, and your creativity. Because of the importance of these "why" questions, your Narrative Web Dream Project (Described) will be worth 10% of your final overall grade.
