Comment Spam-a-lot
As this humble blog has lately been the victim of senseless spam-attacks, I've taken the unpleasant step of imposing TypeKey restriction on post comments.
All that means is that to post comments you'll need to register with TypeKey. It's free. It's easy. It keeps the blog from being overwhelmed with ads for "b0ner pillz" or "lowest mortgage rates" or "get yur college degr33."
And as Martha says, that's a good thing. Thanks for being so understanding.

It might be worth noting that there are other ways of spam-fighting with MovableType, if you decide that this way doesn't quite fit.
Jay Allen, of Six Apart (the MT vendor), has a post with some suggested steps using SpamLookup:

Ah yes, I've heard that acronyms can have that effect on some people :)
YMMV stands for "Your Mileage May Vary". You can read a history and description of the saying over at wikipedia ...
