Spam-a-Lot Redux

Since no one but my students actually registered with TypeKey (and they only do this because I require it)...

and since no one (not even my students) can ever remember which Member Name they chose and whether it's different from their Display Name or not...

and since I really want people to comment here...

I'm taking some of the advice provided by tech-guru Justin and ratcheting up my spam-ware protection.

I'm also dropping TypeKey registration as a requirement for posting comments.

We'll see how that goes.

UPDATE: You will, however, be required to include a valid e-mail address to be able to comment here. I'm not exactly sure how this will work (or not work). If it doesn't, zing me an e-mail and let me know.
