In Which I Am Published

Sound the horns and alert the angel chorus: I've got a chapter (and a very smart one, at that) out now in an edited collection!

The Hand of the Interpreter: Essays on Meaning After Theory brings together scholars from around the world to discuss how we read -- both from a hermeneutical perspective (how we make sense of what we read) and from a material perspective (what we're picking up and how we're holding it as we read). There are many interesting chapters in the book, but I think my favorite so far is this one:

Richard E. Parent: "Interpretation, Navigation, Enactment: Fragmented Narratives and the Play of Reading"

It's guaranteed to change your life. It sure changed mine. Check it out!

This time I had one chapter in a book. Next time the book will be all mine.
